User specific & generated taxonomy list?

Hi folks!

I'm stuck on a taxonomy problem...

Users are able to post 'pages' of a specific content type.

I want the user to be able to create 'folders' of their own and then organize their 'pages' into those folders.

I'm thinking 'folders' would be a taxonomy vocabulary and each user would add their own list of terms to the vocabulary and then when adding a new 'page' the user would have the option of selecting from the 'folders' taxonomy drop down to select one of the 'folders' they added. Then using views I'll display the list of 'folders' and then when the 'folder' is clicked, I display the list of 'pages' the user classified as such.

First of all, is taxonomy the way to go?

Second, how do I allow users to add their own taxonomy terms and how do I keep them separate for each user?

Thank you for any help!

Private Taxonomy Terms: I found this module, so I think I'll give it a try. Seems the D6 ver is still in dev though...

I'm still open for other suggestions.

Thanks!
