Nashville Drupal Group Logo Contest

As we gear up for Drupal Camp Nashville 2010, we thought it might be a good time to hold a logo contest for the group.

If you have design skills and want to give it a whirl, please submit them by emailing your entry to logo@nashvilledrupalers.com.

Here is what you get for having your logo chosen:

• Mad props from all the Drupal folks in Nashville
• $200 Gift Card to Best Buy provided by Robert Half Technology
• This logo will be used for all future Nashville Drupaler related messaging. The designer of the logo will be credited in the footer of the site with having created the logo and will be provided with a hosted page to promote themselves or their business for one year after the logo is chosen.

Here are some basic guidelines:

• Logo should include one of the following names - Nashville Drupalers / Nashville Drupal Group
• Usage of some element that signifies Nashville is preferred.
• Logos drawn using vector programs like Illustrator / Inkscape are preferred
• If logo has gradients, please submit a solid line art version with the gradient version
• The logo should be readable and recognizable at small sizes in non-web related spaces.
• The logo will be used for web, printed materials, t-shirts and signage. In order to help the judges, please provide some context for the logo if possible (i.e. comp it on a t-shirt design)

All entries will be posted to the site and voted upon by the members.

Last but not least, please pass this along to all of our friends and colleagues. Anyone can submit their entries, both those in the group and those outside the group.

Deadline for logo submission is Feb 15th, 2010. Judging will be by group popular vote and the officers of the group. Final choice will be announced
