Hi All - My name is Kim Day and I'd like YOUR vote ;)
I'm throwing my hat into the ring because I'm enthusiastic about drupal and want to help Nashville Drupalers create and support a vibrant local drupal community here in Nashville. I've been learning and using drupal for about 2 years. Drupal (at least for me) is addictive in that, the more I learn, the more I want to know. Currently my drupal strengths are more on the module development / php coding / mysql db side. I'm happy to share what I know with others while I continue to learn. My day job as a web developer allows me to concentrate almost exclusively on using and learning drupal in a higher education environment.
As secretary I would document our meetings and help coordinate mentoring, training, knowledge sharing, etc. I am hard-working, cooperative and a good team player. I think these strengths would be an asset to the group and, if elected, I'll do my best to help Nashville Drupalers grow and become a backbone for supporting drupal developers in the mid-south area.
