A quick update for everyone.

Our Needs

  • We would like to secure someone to sponsor coffee. If you know
    someone in town that can help, please let me know.
  • We need session signups. If you or someone you know can present,
    please ask them to signup on the Camp site. We are giving away a copy
    of "Using Drupal" to the next 10 people that signup.
  • We will need volunteers for the day of the event.  If you

The next 10 people to sign-up to present at Drupal Camp will receive a free copy of the Oreily Book - Using Drupal.

Books will be given to each speaker after they have presented at Drupal Camp.

I am delivering a presentation at the March 14th Drupal Camp Nashville entitled "Introduction to Theming: Converting a static HTML + CSS site template into a drupal theme."

Pretty cool little Adobe Air App - Drupal 6 Theme Starter

I found this nifty little Adobe Air app at xtnd.us that makes rolling out a new theme.info file quicker. Haven't played with it much, but it's one more tool in the kit.

Drupal Camp Planning Meeting

AGENDA: Drupal Camp Planning

This months meeting will be held in the conference room at the new South Central Media Offices. The SCM offices are located at 4751 Trousdale Ave, Suite 110, Nashville, TN 37220. Suite 110 is directly behind the Citgo (to the west) on Trousdale. The SCM offices are located on the lower level. Enter the double glass doors in the middle of the building and then look for suite 110. If the door is closed, simply hit the call button and someone will buzz the door.

Essential Functions
• Migrates existing university Web pages into Drupal content management system
• Communicates with individual university departments to update existing content as necessary
• Cleans legacy HTML code as needed
• Archives/removes outdated Web page content
• Maintains editorial writing quality and corrects spelling/grammatical errors

Required Skills
• Knowledge of Windows/Macintosh operating systems
